Janine's Wedding 15th of October 2010

Janine was after an orange bouquet that would go with her beautiful blue bridesmaids dresses.

When she came in she saw our Artificial Autumn Posy and loved it straight away.

We replicated our Artificial Posy changing the colours to Silver instead of Gold.

The Bridesmaids had wrist corsages with the same colour Orchids as were in Janines Bouquet and the Groom and Groomsmen had Cream Buttonholes, the Groom had an accent of Glitter Coral in his Buttonhole.

We also created a Long Low in the same flowers used through Janines Bouquet.

Carrie's Wedding 6th of November 2010

Carrie walked in with a gorgeous photo of a bouquet that she liked, unfortunately most of the flowers were out of season for her Wedding. We kept with the colour theme of Greeny/White and she loved what we came up with.

The Bride had a Cut & Tie Posy of White Roses, White Dendrobiums, Green Dendrobiums & Berries.

We created a unique handle for her Wedding using Dodda Vine instead of the traditional Ribbon or Cord, this looked great and was very comfortable to hold. We also added some rolled statement leaves at the front of the Bouquet. The picture is rather dark.

The Bridesmaid had a smaller version of Carrie's bouquet without the rolled leaves.

Carrie had a Bridesman whom she wanted to wear a buttonhole but to have it different to the Groomsmen. We added in extra orchids as well as some Berries and Dodda Vine.

The Flowergirl held a ring covered in Dodda Vine with White & Dendrobium orchids and some Berries.

The Groom had a White Dendrobium Orchid Buttonhole with Berries & Dodda Vine

The Groomsmen had Green Dendrobium orchids.

The Throwaway was a smaller version of the Bride & Bridesmaid Bouquets, including the Dodda Handle which you can see easier here.

Carrie had her Reception at Salt on the Beach in the restaurant. There were 7 Cocktail Tables and 3 Sit down Tables, each had one of the below flower arrangements placed on it, there were 5 Green and 5 White in total.

Carrie hired our White Wishing Well and had a Flower Arrangement to match her theme made.

We hope Carrie had a wonderful day yesterday and we can't wait to see photos.

Bianca's Wedding 30th of October 2010

We never met Bianca to discuss her flowers, all correspondence was over the phone and email. When she sent us the specs for her flowers stating she was after Purple & Turquoise we knew the Blue Galaxy Orchids were the flower for her. After sending photos and emails we had Bianca's Wedding Flowers sorted.

Bianca had a Teardrop with Purple & White Roses with Blue Galaxy Orchids scattered throughout.
Her four Bridesmaids had Posy's of White & Purple Roses with the Blue Galaxy orchids.

The Flowergirl had a half Ball of White Miniature Roses & Blue Galaxy Orchids.

The Groom and Groomsmen had Blue Galaxy orchids, the Groom had a couple of buds with a rolled leaf to make it different.
It was a beautiful day for Bianca & Raymond and we cannot wait to see the photos!!

Stephanie's Wedding 10th of October 2010

Stephanie was not sure what kind of flowers she wanted for her wedding. After sitting down and discussing her Wedding with Rockingham Bridal we came up with a design that herself and her fiancee were very happy with.

We ended up keeping all the colours neutral as the Bridesmaid's were wearing Eggplant purple and the cake had accents of peach and cream.

The Bride really liked the Multi-Trailing Bouquet so we used this design with Cream, & White Roses, White Freesia's, Frangipani's & White Dendrobium Orchids. The fragrance of these flowers was very subtle and beautfiul.

The Bridesmaids had a Posy using the same flowers, Cream & White Roses, White Freesia's and Frangipani's.

The Flowergirl held a Petal Basket with Frangipani's on the front.

Below is a picture of the Bridal Party together, the Throaway was a smaller version of the Bridesmaid's Bouquets, unfortunately we did not get photos of this one.

We did not get photos of the Buttonholes, the Groom had a White Rose with some Frangipani's and the groomsmen has White Roses.

The Reception was at the Holiday Inn at the Burswood. We used the Black Bag Chair Covers with Gold Satin sash's tied in a bow.

We decorated the Bridal table with the Skirting & Swagging and had our White Bridal Backdrop behind to cover up the brown walls.

Along the front of the Bridal Table we scattered Rose Petals and small Candle Holders, with two Hurricane Vases at either end of the Bridal Table to match the Guests Tables. The Bride also supplied us with some Butterflies to decorate with, which we placed on the Rose petals along the Bridal Table, these looked stunning with the lights reflecting off the glitter on the Butterflies wings.
The Guest Tables were Fishbowl vases with a pillar candle, white stones and Frangipani's scattered around the candle.

Rockingham Bridal also supplied the Bonbonierres which had beautiful White Sugar Almonds imported from Greece, placed into a Purple Tulle Bag with a Frangipani tied onto each.

We hope that Stephanie & Bruce had a lovely day and we cannot wait to see the professional photos!!

Deborah's Wedding 26th September 2010

Deborah was after a Turquoise and Purple theme for Wedding Decor, and what better than to use the gorgeous Blue Galaxy orchids. These are a stunning flower with a velevt like look to the purple.

For the Bridal Table she required an Artificial Long Low which we added in Baby Blue to the White to break it up a bit and added a lot of Greenery. The Bridal Table was 14 seats long which we placed our skirting and swagging on (perfect for covering up your feet when you are at the head of the table)

There were 30 of these Bullet Vases placed on the tables, each with a stem of the gorgeous Orchids and two stems of Silver Fern Curls.

The Bride looked absolutely stunning with her traditional New Zealand Bouquet and the weather was glorious. We wish them all the best for the future.

Salt on the Beach Open Evening 1st of September 2010

Salt on the Beach held an Open Evening on the 1st of September to showcase their beautiful restaurant to Brides & Grooms so that they could see what their wedding would like at the restaurant.

Rockingham Bridal decorated the Restaurant, Mezzanine and Terrace. It was a great night and the restaurant was glowing with the wonderful candeabras which set a very intimate feel to the room.

White Bridal Backdrop with Swagging was placed behind the Bridal table, the table was skirted and had matching Swagging to the backdrop. A Pink Satin Runner went along the front of the table to match the Chair Covers, on this runner we placed the Bridal Long Low of Oriental Lilly's and Pink Roses, Pink Rose Petals with Mosaic Candle Holders. Each Candle Holder had a stunning Cymbidium Orchid in front of it.

Once the sun had set the Mosaic Candle Holders looked absolutely stunning, the below pictures do not do these holders justice.

Each Guest Table had a White Candelabra with the Mosaic Holders at the base sitting on a mirror.

The Mosaic holders each had a Pink Rose with Pink Carnations.

This photo was taken just after sunset before the Brides & Grooms started to sit down for their meals.
In the Mezzanine we used Medium Mosaic Cylinders with Pink Roses, Silver Sticks & Dodda Vine.
As the sun was setting the room looked like it was a disco with all the mirrors in the Mezzanine along with the Vases.
On the Terrace we decorated the Cocktail Tables with Fishbowl Vases which had Pink Cymbidium Orchids and Dodda Vine.

The Restaurant all set up before people Brides and Grooms started to arrive.

It was an enjoyable evening with lots of Brides and Grooms walking through.

Masquerade Ball for Jethro 24th July 2010

Salt on the Beach held a charity event for Jethro on the 24th of July.

It was a Masquerade Ball where patrons dressed up for the evening and celebrated the short life of Jethro. To read more about Jethro please go to Masquerade for Jethro

All the guests had a lot of fun and I hope a lot of money was raised from the event. One touching moment that the pack up staff of Rockingham Bridal got to view was all of the guests releasing balloons into the night sky along the shore of Salt on the Beach.

Jenny came in to see us not quite sure what she was after just that it had to be White.

As we began talking we decided on White Roses and to go for a Arm Sheaf style.

Jenny wanted to keep her Bouquets small and simply. Below is her Bouquet with beautiful rolled green leaves.

Her Bridesmaid had a smaller version of this Bouquet.

Her Flowergirl held a full basket of White Roses and White Orchids with Gold Accents.

The Mothers had White Pearl Wrist Corsages of White Dendrobium Orchids.

The Groom, Groomsmen and Fathers all had White Rose Buttonholes.

We hope Jenny had a lovely day and cannot wait to see the professional photos.

Kristy's Wedding 10th of July 2010

Kristy is a lovely Bride we met over a year ago. She had a gorgeous Black gown with Silver accents and was after a Black, White & Silver theme for her day.
Kristy had a Teardrop of White Roses and Tulips with Black Glitter Coral and Silver Diamontes throughout.
Her Bridesmaid had a Posy of White Roses with Black Glitter Coral and Silver Diamontes.

Her Junior Bridesmaid has a smaller Posy of White Roses with Black Glitter Coral and Silver Diamontes.

Kristy's Flowergirl had an Artificial White Rose Circlet and White Rose Flowergirl Ball which had a Black Satin Handle with Black Coral and Silver Diamontes. Unfortunately I did not get a photo of the Circlet as this was delivered earlier than the other flowers for the Hairdresser to place in the Flowergirls Hair.

The Groom, Groomsmen and Dads had a White Rose Buttonhole, the Groom had an accent of Black Glitter Coral on his and the Mum's had Miniature White Rose Corsages.

The Reception was at Munja Gardens and Kristy really liked the Martini Vases. She chose to have the Small Martini Vase with Artificial White Roses and Black Gell Balls with Black Glitter Coral throughout the Roses. These sat on a Round Mirror which reflects the lights nicely at Munja Gardens. On the Mirror Kristy had some Black Diamond Swarovski Scatter Crystals which were very dazzling on the mirror.

Kristy was going to place her Bouquet on the Bridal Table in front of her and her new husband, but to accent either side we used more of the Black Diamond Swarovski Scatter Crystals and used White Swagging along the front of the table with Silver Satin Accents to match the Black Lycra Chair Covers and Silver Satin Sashes.

I hope Kristy and her new husband had a great day and we cannot wait to see the Photos :)

Rockingham Bridal will be providing the decor for the event, Courtney Murphy from Australian Idol will be singing on the night.

Sunday the 25th of July is the Mandurah Quays Open Day. Come down between 10am-3pm to have chat with some of the staff at Rockingham Bridal and see all the other vendors who are attending like The Cake Gallery.

Tamara's Wedding 4th of June 2010

Tamara had a Black, Red and White theme for her Wedding and was after Red Roses for all of her Wedding Flowers.

The Arrangements turned out stunning, unfortunately as we are not professional photographers we don't have the equipment or skills required to take nice photos, but you can see what they looked like below.

Tamara had a Posy of all Red Roses.

The two Bridesmaids had a Sheaf of Red Roses.

Tamara's eldest daughter held a Petal Basket with White & Red Rose Petals.

The youngest Daughter held a Wand which consisted of a single Red Rose with Gold Glitter sticks to frame.

The Groom and Groomsmen all had a Red Rose for their Buttonholes.

The Reception was held at Munja Gardens. Tamara chose the White Satin bag Chair Covers with Black & Red Satin Sashes used intermittently. The Cottage Wishing Well was placed on the Gift Table.

I hope Tamara and her husband had a lovely day.

Fairbridge Village Open Day 9th of May 2010

Fairbridge Village is a beautiful heritage listed town-site dedicated to helping today's youth. There are multiple venues at Fairbridge to choose to hold your reception in accommodating all size weddings.

Our stall was in the large Dining Hall where we decorated the entrance table and a round reception table.
The Entrance Table had a Rectangle and two Square Vases with Shells in the base with Gell Balls, Green Orchids, Green Roses, White Carnations and White Freesias with Dodda Vine. In between the vases were Dodda Vine with some Green Orchids Scattered throughout.

The Reception Table was all White with the White Crystal Tree placed on a mirror with Crystal Aurora Borealis Swarovski Crystals scattered. The Bonbonierres were White Mesh Satchels with Silver Heart Dragees. We used White Swagback Chair Covers, suitable for round back chairs.

This small display is suitable to have at either end of your Bridal Table or for Square/Rectangle Guest Tables. This was situated on our Display Table with the Bright Red Roses sitting in Black Stones on the Black Mosaic Mirror with Red Swarovski Crystals Scattered on the Mirror Base.

This gorgeous Teardrop Bouquet smelt lovely all day with the highly fragrant Purple Hyacinth placed with White Freesia, White Lisianthus, White & Cream Roses.

In the Comm Ed Room we decorated two round reception tables.
One Table is Pink and White with the Small Martini Vase. We used Pink Roses, White Carnations and Light Pink lillies. These sat on a mirror with Pink Swarovski Scatter Crystals. The Placecard holders are real shells so each one is unique. The Bonbonierres are Hot Pink Mesh Satchels with Silver Heart Dragees. White Satin Bag Chair Covers with Hot Pink Satin Sashes tied in a Fold.

The Second Table is Black & Red using the new Squiggle Martini with Black Gells Balls, Red Roses and Black Ostrich Feathers. This sat on a mirror with Red & Black Swarovski Scatter Crystals. The Placecard holders are Black ornately decorated frames, the Bonbonierres were in a Black Vase with Silver Ribbon Accent, inside were Silver Heart Dragees. Black Lycra Chair Covers with Red Satin Sash tied on the side.

We also decorated the Chapel with Burgundy Pew Bows, two white Rose Toparies and White Flower Arrangements.A very big Thanks to Chad Taylor for the wonderful Photographs!

Brenda's Wedding 22nd of May 2010

We never met the Bride for this Wedding. Everything was organised by one of her lovely Bridesmaid's, Brenda and we didn't get to meet her until the day either.

It was a simple backyard wedding with the theme of Yellow, White & Purple. Brenda knew she wanted White & Yellow Roses but was unsure on the Purple highlight to add in. We chose Hyacinth which is beautifully fragrant and looks fantastic wired on their own in between Roses and other Flowers.

This is the Bride's Posy of Yellow & White Roses with Purple Hyacinth framed with Camelia Leaves.

The two Bridesmaid's had White & Yellow Roses with Purple Hyacinth and framed with Camelia Leaves.

The Groom had a White Rose with Purple Hyacinth Accents and the two Groomsmen had White Roses.

It was a bit of a wet day but I hope the rain held out for the Ceremony and that the Bride & Groom had a lovely day.

Salt on the Beach Open Day 1st of May 2010

Salt on the Beach is a beautiful reception centre located in North Fremantle and is situated right along the Beach.
Have your Ceremony on the foreshore and then walk up to the Reception venue to enjoy the night. You can have your Reception either inside or outside, both with gorgeous views of the ocean.

We have decorated Salt on the Beach quite a few times now and are recommended suppliers for Salt on the Beach. We were asked to decorate Salt on the Beach, Beach Bar (outside) with five reception tables, a couple of cocktail tables and a bridal table as well as feature in the fashion parades held throughout the day.
Find below how we transformed Salt on the Beach to a fantastic Wedding Open Day.

Large Martini Vase with spray of White Dendrobium Orchids in Gell Balls. We kept this table sleek using White Lycra Chair Covers.

Black & Red is Bold and Beautiful, and you cannot go far from beautiful Adrenalin Red Roses. A Black Vase full of Red Roses, Black Ostrich Feather and Black Sticks for height is stunning and caught a lot of people's attention. We finished this table off with modern Black Lycra Chair Covers and Red Satin Sash side tied with a Black Ostrich Feather.

Pink is sweet and gorgeous for a Wedding. We used our brand new Squiggle Martini with White Carnations, Pink Poeme Roses with White Freesias in Gell Balls finished with pink wire with pearls. White Satin Bag Chair Covers were finished with a Pink Satin Sash tied in the Flip style.

This is the large version of our popular Beach Centrepiece. Shell's, Starfish, Candles and a flower of your choice is added into the bowl, we have used the Calendula in Orange this time to match with the Orange Organza Sash tied in a Bow and Table Runner used with White Satin Bag Chair Covers

Our gorgeous White Crystal Tree was a stunner which can be accented with flowers or any decoration you would like. We used Dusty Pink Feather Birds to accent the Brown Satin Sash. The Sash was Side Tied with the White Lycra Chair Covers.

The Bridal Table we kept a beach theme while looking like a garden bed. Shells were placed at the bottom of the vase then Gell Balls with Green Roses, Green Dendrobium Orchids, White Freesia's and White Carnations float on the top of the vase with Dodda Vine looped over the top.

This beauty was placed on a Cocktail Table but would look great as a centrepiece. A stem of White Dendrobium Orchid with Shells at the bottom, stunning.This is a terrible photo but such a cute arrangement!! Red Roses with Spear Grass, and Leather Fern in a little hand made Bird Nest!!

Our gorgeous Black Lace Vase with a ring of Orange Calendula, White Freesia, Berries, Leaves and Bronze Coral.
The fashion parade was fantastic and the dresses were gorgeous.

Erin's Wedding 1st of May

Erin is a lovely lady we met a few months ago. She is having a backyard Ceremony in Australia and going back to Canada for her Reception. She was after an Artificial Bouquet she could use at both celebrations.

Erins favourite flower is the lillys. We chose a Posy of Lillys with White Roses and Fine Asparagus Fern.Erin also had a Bridesmaid which she had a Burgundy Diamonte Wrist Corsage, the Groom had a White Roses while the Groomsmen had a Burgundy Rose. We unfortunately did not get photos of these.

Julies Wedding 30th April 2010

Julie was unsure what kind of designs she was after for her Bouquets, all she knew was that she was after Roses and it had to have a Dark Red roses to match her Bridesmaid's lovely dresses.

We found a photo in a magazine with a mixture of roses which Julie and her mum loved. A few weeks later we got some samples of the Roses to confirm the colours. We ended up with Chantilly - Champagne, Renate - Apricot, Sweet Bianca - Pale Pink and Black Baccarra - Dark Red, almost Black.

These photos do not do the Bouquets justice and hopefully we can have some professional photos soon.

Julie had a Teardrop bouquet with Chantilly, Renate, Sweet Bianca & Black Baccarra Roses with Leather Fern and Gold Diamontes.

The three Bridesmaids each had a Posy of Chantilly, Renate, Sweet Bianca & Black Baccarra Roses with Leather Fern which matched lovely with their Dresses.

The Flowergirl had a posy of Chantilly, Sweet Bianca & Black Baccarra Roses with Leather Fern.

Julie had her Reception at the beautiful Munja Gardens. We decorated the Bridal Table & Cake Table with the Chiffon swagging, the Skirting was supplied by Munja Gardens.

The Chairs were covered with Black Lycra Chair Covers with Burgundy Satin Sash tied in a Bow.

The Throwaway is placed on the Cake Table with the beautiful Cake which matched perfectly to the flowers.

We spoke to Julie mum when we packed up the Reception centre and she told us everything was perfect and that Julie loved everything. We are glad we could be a part of her special day.

Amy's Wedding 10th of April 2010

Amy had organised her flowers through a family friend who was a florist and the last thing she needed to complete her wedding was her Chair Covers.

She chose Black Lycra Chair Covers with a Red Satin Sash, tied in a bow, to go with her Red Roses.

Anna's Wedding 9th of April 2010

Anna's wanted simply tones for her Wedding party, keeping with the neutral colours.

Bride Posy of Cream & White Roses with White Lisianthus backed with Camelia Leaves.

The two Bridesmaids had a Posy each of Cream & White Roses with White Lisianthus backed with Camelia Leaves.

The Throwaway Posy was also made of the same flowers as the Bridal Party.

The Groom had a White Rose which we made more special with curling a leaf. The Groomsmen has a Cream Rose and the Dad's had a White Rose.

The Mum's had a Shoulder Pin Corsage of White Miniature Roses with Lisianthus Buds & Fine Asparagus Fern.

The six Guests Tables had a small cylinder vase of a mixture of Pink flowers. We used Coffee Pink Miniature Roses, Pink Spray Carnations, Pink Chrysanthemum's and White Lisianthus. These were placed on a round mirror with clear votive's around the base. The Pink Glass flowers were placed amongst the flowers and on the mirror.

The Bridal Table had a Rectangle Vase and two Cylinder Vases with Hydrogell Balls and Coffee Pink Miniature Roses, Pink Spray Carnations, Pink Chrysanthemum's and White Lisianthus Flowers floating on the top. The Rectangle Vase then had a Pink Light placed amongst the Gell Balls, which looks stunning when the sun has set.

Clear Votives were placed between the Vases with a Pink Carnation in front of each one.

I hope Anna and Justin had a lovely day and we cannot wait to see the professional photos.

Alexsandra's Wedding 7th of March

Alex loved our ideas we had for her wedding and booked us a few hours after meeting with us. We were going to have Pink Roses and White Hydrangea throughout her wedding decorations, but a few weeks before her Wedding the White Hydrangea crops were ruined. We changed the flowers to White Double Lisianthus and White Sim Carnations.

Alex had a large 40cm Posy of Pink Roses and White Lisianthus with Silver & Pearl Wire criss crossed over the bouquet.
Alex gave us a brooch to add onto the handle of the Bouquet.
The three Bridesmaids had White Roses with White Lisianthus Posies.
The Throwaway had the Pink Roses with White Lisianthus.
Alex had her reception at Caversham House in the Swan Valley, in the gorgeous Marquee located outside the house. This is a photo of what the Marquee looked like before Rockingham Bridal set up their decorations.

Alex chose a Dark Brown Satin Sash with a Side Tie, the Chair Covers were supplied by Caversham House.
This decoration was in the centre of the Bridal Table with White Ostrich Feathers, White Oriental Lilly, Pink Roses and White Sim Carnations sitting in Hydrogell Balls and Pink Light.
There were two of these display's on the side of the centre display with White Ostrich Feathers, White Oriental Lilly, Pink Roses and White Sim Carnations sitting in Hydrogell Balls and Pink Lights.
Six of these display's with Hydrogell Balls and Pink Lights and Pink Rose on top.
Vintage Rose Scatter Crystals with a couple of Rose Petals were scattered in between the centre display and the side display's.
Pink Rose Petals were scattered in between each display.
The beautiful cake was created by The Cake Gallery and we scattered some Rose Petals around the cake.
The Martini Centrepieces had two White Ostrich Plumes with White Oriental Lilly's, Pink Roses and White Carnations sitting in Hydrogell Ball's with Pink Lights.
We hope that Alex had a magical day and wish her all the best for her and her new husband for the future.

Tara's Wedding 6th of March

We first met Tara and and her mother Marilyn at Salt on the Beach's Open Day where they saw our display's. A few months later then came down to see us again and booked their wedding flowers. Tara really liked the Orange Tango Roses which matched her Bridesmaid's dresses along with the beautiful Sunburst Frangipani's.

A few months after booking with Rockingham Bridal, we started to hire Chair Covers and Ceremony Decorations. Tara saw what we could offer and booked us to create her Ceremony & Reception decorations as well. Tara also brought along some Black Lace which she wanted added throughout her Bouquet and Decorations.

This is Tara's Bouquet of Tango Roses, Sunburst Frangipani's, Black Lace Loops and Silver Wire & Pearl Bouquet Collar.
Tara's three Bridesmaid's had Tango Roses with Sunburst Frangipani's with a Silver Wire & Pearl Collar.
The Groom had a Tango Rose with Frangipani's & Frangipani Buds with some of the Black Lace poking out. Tara also had the stem of the Buttonhole decorated with Black Ribbon and Silver Wire.
The Groomsmen and Father's had a single Frangipani Bud with Black Ribbon around the stem.
The Mothers each had a Shoulder Pink Corsage of Frangipani's.
The Ceremony was located at Point Walter near the Sand Bar and had gorgeous views of the River. Tara had 12m White Carpet with a 4m piece at the top for the Bride & Groom to stand on. The chairs were decorated with White Satin Chair Covers and Orange Organza Sash's tied in a bow.
The Bridal Arch had a Flower decoration at the top with the Tango Roses and Sunburst Frangipani's with some Black Lace Loops throughout.
Unfortunately we did not get photos of the Reception which was at Salt on the Beach in the inside room. The room looked stunning and I will hopefully have photos in a few weeks time from Fraid Knot Photography.

Amy's Weddings 27th of February

Amy was after Frangipani's and Roses. We managed to find a supplier in the East Kimberly whom could supply beautiful Frangipani's in Sunburst, White and Yellow, and Courtyard Pink, Pink and Yellow.

The Bride had a Posy of White Roses with Suburst Frangipanis and Silver & Pearl Wire criss crossed over the bouquet.

Amy's three Bridesmaids had White Roses with the Courtyard Pink Frangipani's in a Posy.

The Buttonholes were all White Roses with White Miniature Roses for the Mothers Corsage's.

I hope Amy had a lovely day and I wish them all the best.

Marlena's Wedding 23rd of January

We first met Marlena in May of 2009 at the Salt on the beach open day. She almost had everything organised, and once she saw our Beach centrepiece everything fell into place. A few months later Marlena came back to book her Wedding with us. Since the last time we had met her Rockingham Bridal had started hiring out Chair Covers and it made it easier for Marlena to only have to contact the one person for all of the design elements for her night.

The Bridal Bouquet had Purple Orchids, Purple & White Roses, Gypsophilia and Fine Asparagus Fern in a Teardrop.

The three Bridesmaid had a posy of the Purple Orchids, Purple and White Roses along with some Gypsophilia.
The three Flowergirls each held a a Purple Flower ring of Purple Orchids, White Roses and Gypsophilia.
The Reception was held at Salt on the Beach in the outdoor section with beautiful views of the ocean. Each table had a Beach theme vase with shells, White Orchids and purple candle.

The Bridal Table had two hurricane vases with the same beach theme with Purple & White Rose Petals trailed along the edge of the table. Marlena's Bouquet sat in front of her and her new husband.

We used White Lycra Chair Covers with Purple Snow Organza Sash's and the Bridal Backdrop was used as a blockade near the dance floor for some privacy.

We enjoyed meeting Marlena and her family and wish them all the best for the future.

Trish's Wedding 17th of January

Trish and Stephen first met us at our previous office and Trish knew exactly what she was after. She brought along some Artificial Flowers which she wanted her Bouquets made out of. Once we looked at the flowers she had purchased there were not enough to make what she was after. We later decided to make her Bouquet and her Bridesmaid's Bouquet in Fresh and the Flowergirls would have Artificial.

The Bride had a Teardrop Bouquet of Pale Pink, Latte and White Roses with Red Berzillia Berries and Gold Glitter Sticks throughout.

The Bridesmaid had Teardrop of Pale Pink, Latte and White Roses with Red Berzillia Berries and Gold Glitter Sticks.The three Flowergirls had an Artificial Bouquet of mixed coloured Roses and Hypericum Berries.

The Throw Away was made to match the Bride and Bridesmaid.

Trish's Dad had a Latte Coloured Rose with some Berries to accent.

A dark pink cake topper was also made for Trish & Stephen's cake unfortunately we did not take any photos.

Trish was ecstatic when we delivered the flowers, they were exactly what she wanted :)

Tracey's Wedding 19th of December

We first met Tracey and Brian in March and they had only just found out they were pregnant with the third child.

We decided to go with a large posy of Roses to help cover Tracey's Belly as she would almost be due to have bub's around their Wedding Day.

Tracey loved the Dolce Vita Rose however the Rose was not fit to use for her Wedding when they day came, so a softer pink version was used, called Tarantella. The colour looked beautiful as it matched the Bridesmaid's Dresses nicely.

The two Bridesmaids had a small Posy of Hot Pink Roses.

Four Flowergirls carried small posy's of Hot Pink Miniature Roses

The Throw Away Bouquet consisted of Tarantella Roses and Hot Pink Miniature Roses.

The two Mum's wore a Cream Pearl Wrist Corsage with Hot Pink Miniature Roses.

The Groom had a Tarantella Rose

The Groomsmen and Dad's wore a Hot Pink Rose Buttonhole.

The Pageboy wore a Hot Pink Rose Buttonhole to match the Flowergirls.

The started out hot and luckily the Venue had air conditioning as it was nice and cool when we delivered the flowers.

The thunderstorm started late in the afternoon which produced some lovely photos for Tracey and Brian. Hopefully we will have some photos soon to show you, the sneak peek I have seen they look fantastic.

Meadow Springs Golf and Country Club Wedding Open Day 2009

On Sunday the 6th of December the Meadow Springs Golf and Country Club had an open day where Brides could come down and view the lovely grounds they have as well as their recommended Bridal Services. We were lucky to be invited along to set up a Ceremony at the entrance to the grounds and our Bouquets were featured in both of the Fashion Parades which featured Anisty Bridal's Gowns.

We had a great day and met lots of new Brides and look forward to going again next year.

Nikki's Wedding 29th of November

Nikki is a lovely lady we met in June. She was very excited when she saw the Martini's we had made for a Wedding Expo just the month before and knew that was what she wanted.

She was after a Fresh Posy of Oriental's, Roses and 'Gold Bling' which consisted of Gold Glitter Sticks and Gold Diamontes. Unfortunately due to allergies the Oriental's had to be changed to Artificial but we kept the Roses Fresh.

Below is Nikki's bouquet which consisted of Artificial Oriental Lilly's, Fresh White Roses, Gold Glitter Sticks and Gold Diamontes, backed with Camelia Leaves

The three Bridesmaids had the same style bouquet only smaller, including the 'Gold Bling'.

The Flowergirl had White Roses with White Miniature Roses and backed with Camelia leaves.
The throw away had White Roses, White Miniature Roses and Artificial Hydrangea.

The bridal long low consisted of Artificial Oriental and Tiger Lily's, White Roses, Dracnea Leaves, Leather Fern and Gold Coral for effect.

Rockingham Spring Festival

On Saturday the 21st of November we exhibited at the Rockingham Spring Festival. It was a beautiful, sunny day and a lot of people came down to have a browse.

We were situated next to Peel Manor House who shared with Cyrus from Lighthouse Photography. Below is some of his photography.

Claire's Wedding 24th of October 2009

We first met Claire in June. She is a very easy Bride to deal with, even when I said to her that the Lisianthus were not going to be the Dark Purple she was after. We were surprised that when her flowers arrived, they were the perfect shade of Purple to suit her theme.

Claire had a Teardrop of Dark Purple Lisianthus, White Roses, White Miniature Roses with Silver Swarovski Swirls and Silver Glitter sticks with Fine Asparagus Fern.

Her three Bridesmaids had Posy's with White Roses with a Tinge of Green and White Miniature Roses.

The Flowergirl had a Posy with White Roses with a Tinge of Green and White Miniature Roses to match the Bridesmaid's.

The Throwaway was a small Posy with Dark Purple Lisianthus, White Roses and White Miniature Roses.

The Groom, Groomsmen and Dad had a White Rose Buttonhole and the Mother's had White Miniature Rose Wrist Corsage's.

The weather held out for Claire with overcast skies coming over just before her Ceremony, but the rain held in.

I hope she had a beautiful day and we look forward to seeing her wonderful photo's in the next few weeks.

Michelle's Wedding 4th of October 2009

When we first met Michelle she was not quite sure what she was after and was contemplating creating her own Wedding Flowers. After seeing what we could offer her she decided to let us create her Wedding Flowers.

Michelle chose to replicate a Bouquet we had made to display in our showroom except she change the accents from Gold to Silver, to match her Wedding theme. This simple change made the bouquet look completely different. Instead of only looking classy it now looked Princessy and fit for a Fairytale.

The Bride chose a Multi-Trailing bouquet with White/Green Roses, White Miniature Roses, White Phalenopsis Orchids, Fine Asparagus Fern with Silver Swirls accented with Swarovski Crystals and Silver Glitter Sticks trailing down the bouquet.

The Bridesmaids had Diamonte Wrist Corsages the same as our display in our Showroom which contain White Miniature Roses.

The Groom wore a Buttonhole containg White Miniature Roses.

Tammy's Wedding 23rd of August 2009

Tammy is a beautiful Bride to work for. She came in to meet us with a photo of what she wanted. We changed the colours to what was in the photo and replicated it. She was extremely happy with her flowers.

This is her bouquet which contains Latte, Cream and White Roses, White Freesia's and White Tulips.

Her Bridesmaid had Cream and White Roses with White Freesia's and White Tulip's.

The Throwaway bouquet had Latte, Cream & White Roses and White Tulips.

The Groom, Groomsmen and Dad's had a single rose Buttonhole. The Groom had a Cream Rose, the Groomsmen (their son) had a Latte Rose and the Dad's had White Roses.

The Mum's and Grandma's all wore Shoulder Pin Corsages containing White Miniature Roses.

Rose petals of the Cream & Latte Rose were thrown by the Flower Girls and the Cake Table was decorated with Rose Petals. Hopefully there will be some pictures to follow of this decoration.

Tammy and Daniel decided to hire our beautiful cottage look Wishing Well, they received $3600 from it.

Angela's Wedding

We have some photos back from Angela's wedding we made in August. She had a Calla Lilly Posy, Calla Lilly Buttonholes/Corsages, a Crescent Bridal Table Display as well as three candleholders. The Candles were all decorated by Rockingham Bridal to match the theme of Black & Silver.

Meeting Room

We have finished setting Rockingham Bridal's room and this is the end result.

You can come and sit down on our compfy lounges, look through our portfolio and some magazines while having a nice tea or coffee.

We have a range of Artificial Bouquets which you can have a hold and play with while standing in front of the mirror. This gives you a guide of the different types of bouquets and how they suit your Wedding theme. We also have some Buttonholes for your Fiancee, Corsage's for the Mum's, Centrepiece's and Cake Decorations so that you can see what we can do for you.

We are able to create other pieces besides what you can see pictured. If you have a picture of what you are after then bring this with your appointment and we can design something to suit your wedding.

Flower Cupcakes

My Wedding

We were married in October last year at the lovely Munja Gardens. We had a budget wedding so could not afford to have our reception there, plus I am a very DIY person.

We had our reception at the Port Kennedy Community Hall and I hired Sarah from Your White Weddings to set up my Chair Covers. We had our photos at Munja and went home to relax for an hour. We then set off to the Reception hall where we had 1 hour to set everything up. Sarah was already there setting up the 80 chairs. Within 10 minutes of us arriving the rest of my family rocked up and helped us set up (approximately 50 people) so all of us are in there moving tables and chairs, setting up the table arrangements and everything.

We had a very fun and laid back night, if there was anything I could change I would of saved up the extra money and paid someone else to set it up for me as I was exhausted after running around and setting up everything.

My brother carried my little girl down the aisle as she was not yet walking, while holding onto her Flowergirl Ball for her, which she later pulled apart.

Rowan created my bouquets. I was unsure of what I wanted, all I knew was I wanted Frangipani's, but I did not want a bouquet full of Frangipani's. With that Rowan went away and created my beautiful arrangements for me. Inside each of the Frangipani's we added Swarovski Crystal's to the centre to add a little bling, and I adore Swarovski, as you can tell from our other business.

Salt on the Beach Wedding Expo

Salt on the Beach in Fremantle is a beautiful place to have your reception, so when we were informed that they were having their first Wedding Expo we decided to go along.

We created three Fresh Rose Bouquets to be featured in their Fashion parade, a White & Latte Rose Posy, Orange Rose Cut & Tie Posy and a small Red Rose Flowergirl Posy.

We also had 5 guest tables and a Bridal Table to decorate where we kept them all simple and a bit of a Tropical/Beach theme.

3 Small Red Roses with Black stones and Leather Fern. Very Simple and elegant.

Lemon & Lime Centrepiece, very fresh and summery.

Oriental Lilly in a small ceramic vase with Black curls forming out the centre. It was hard to photograph this right, but it looked fantastic.

If you are going for a Beach theme you cannot go past Frangipani, Shells & Sand. This was one of the popular centrepieces as it is very simple and it is Beachy. For everyone who does not know, Salt on the Beach is on the Beach, you can walk to the sand with 5 steps from the Restaurant.

Martini Vase's look great and with this simple Pink centrepiece you can have a stylish look that people will be talking about for all the right reasons.

Submerged centrepieces are becoming very popular, and nothing is more romantic than Red Roses.

With the Bridal Long Low we decided to keep it Tropical with an Orange theme. We used Bird of Paradise, Gerbera's & Roses.

Peel Manor House Expo

Peel Manor House opened their doors to the Brides on May the 3rd 2009.

Rockingham Bridal was situated in the lovely gardens next to Ultimate DJ Productions and Annisty Bridal.

The day was lovely with lots of new faces to see. We created a stunning White & Rose display in our Martini Vase along with one of our most popular display's, Lemon & Lime vase. We also had two nice Red Rose Display's which everyone commented on.

Munja Garden's Wedding Expo

Munja Garden's held a Wedding Expo on Sunday the 22nd of March 2009. This was free for all brides to enter and see the wonderful gardens of Munja. Where I was married last year.

We were all set up in the Reception hall while the limousines were placed on the grassed areas. This was our first Wedding Expo, so we were unsure as to what to take, so we took our Artificial Bouquets.

We were placed at the end of the row as you walked around and no one missed our display's. We were treated to a fully cooked buffet lunch as there was an apprentice chef who needed training. It was absolutely gorgeous. Here we met Vicky from Everlasting Videography, who is an extremely lovely lady and Anne & Bianca from Sweet Thoughts, they brought along the yummiest chocolates.

The day was very fun and a new experience for us all.

Welcome to Rockingham Bridal's first Blog. Our goal is to supply the Bride with a Friendly and Professional service, and to see the smile on her face when we deliver her Wedding Flowers :)

My name is Steff and I am the first person you speak to, be it on the phone, via email or at one of the Wedding Expo's. You may also talk to Rowan, who attends the Wedding Expo's and is the Florist who will meet with you and desgin your Wedding Flowers. Rowan has over 20 years experience in the Wedding Flower industry, so is proving to be a fantastic teacher to me and Ken, our Florist in training. Ken works behind the scenes at the moment, you may see him at some of the Wedding Expo's, otherwise he will be assisting Rowan where possible and learning from her expertise.

Now you have met the team it's time to find out why Rockingham Bridal started. As Rowan and I both had Weddings last year we know what it is like to plan them and the process can be very overwhelming. We were both out of work, Rowan's Employer was changing hands and I had a baby to look after. We decided to start a Wedding Floristry business that we could operate from home with flexible hours. I was already operating another Business so I knew how to set up and run one, and Rowan had the expertise in the industry. Some people have asked us why we started up a Wedding Floristry business as you work into the early hours of the morning creating Bouquets for the Brides that day, keeping them as fresh as possible. The answer is very simple, the rewards are tenfold when the Bride see's her Wedding Flowers, and if we are lucky enough we get to witness her face when she walks into the Reception Hall and see it decorated with lovely flowers :)
